Welcome

I am searching for additional information on John Harris Hendricks, his ancestors, and his descendents. He was one of the sons of John and Frances (Frankie) Harris Hendricks from Kentucky.

I am trying to re-size it. I made a change in size but it saved as a bit map and it won't display correctly. So I will try again.

Does anyone know the names of the children of John Hendricks m. Frances Harris? I have seen the son named James Allen Hendricks b. 1820 in Estill co. Ky. I am looking for Thomas Hendrick b. about 1818 in MO. DNA results show relation to this line. I am thinking Thomas could have been a son of John m. Frances. Anyone? Thanks. Art Hendrix

Yes Art, I have the other children's names. I just received a copy of the probate information that names all of John's children. They are James A, John H (pictured on blog, Nancy A. Barnett, Presley F.(uncle to the pictured Presley), Rosanna Margaret, Elizabeth Francis, and Rebecca Jane Hendricks.
I have some Kentucky tax rolls with my family listed. There is a Thomas, but like I said he was in Kentucky. He may have been the son of Andrew Hendricks, who I am led to believe is the first son of James Hendricks (father of the John you are inquiring about. I am hoping to do some further research on this line in the next few days. I hope this helps!Check back in a few days.

Sorry Art, the comment was from me. I am new at this blog stuff. I have not done much with it lately. I also have a website. I did not do it right, so until I change the URL it is at http://mlthompson09.googlepages.com

I am looking for a family connection to a James Hendricks [born 1808] who married Elizabeth Whitaker and lived [at least for part of his life] in Kentucky. No other information is known for him. He had several children; one of which is James William Hendricks born in 1836 in Franklin, Ky. He married a Lucy Stinson and they eventually moved west to Arizona. He served in the Civil War- Union side. Any thoughts?

About Me

I have been doing family genealogy for about 40 years. I have been working on my mom's side of the family and I have recently changed over to my dad's lines. I know there are others out there working on some of these lines. I hope to be able to expand it in this blog in the future as my work progresses.
